how much can a bar of metal and mounting brackets really cost? I bet they manufacuture the bars so that they can be used on a lot of vehicles and just have different brackets.

in any case they look sturdier than the ones from http://www.ppsonline.net/sustrut.htm

doh.. shoulda searched before hand cause that doesnt sound good it sounds like from that thread even if they do have them in stock it might be the wrong bar? that would suck if so.

ya i hate to be the guy to give the bad news but its better to know that before they sent it out. but hey you never know. no one realy asked arospeed if the really had them. or makes them. so there is still hope~!

arospeed never made them. they will send you 90 accord strut bars, sorry guys.

just talked to arospeed and they confirmed it's for a 90 at least i didn't get charged phew!


i dunno if it was just me or what but the way the guy replied he kinda sounded disappointed and somewhat guilty.. they obviously know it's not the right bar but are still selling them. i wouldnt be suprised if those are the bars the ebay seller had which they had to buy back or something since they werent listed on their website until recently

also to talk to the sales rep i had to press 4 for product support. from my brief experience with the company i'd have to say avoid them lol..

i wonder how much it would cost to get a custom bracket made.. maybe we could find a fabrication shop and make a group buy of mounting brackets for an 90 accord bar

there are no strut tower bars made at all for the carbed accord, has to be custom fabed to go around the carb i have seen people go from the tower to the firewall behind the airbox before.

ha!! that bar wasnt ever made for our cars!! i found that like a year ago and someone bought it and it didnt fit.... some one else awhile ago bought it and it didnt fit either :thumbdown:
