i have an 86lx-i, and i was wondering if i could swap in the heads from an 89, i gather that the 88-89 have higher compression because of the heads, which results in +- 10 HP gains.
is this a feasable project?
and there is a tricky part to this question, if i get the GUDE racing package, which includes ported and polished heads, will they be more effective if i already had the 89 heads on, or would either the 86 heads or the 89 heads turn out the same after gude works on them?
a little insight please?
