And does anyone know how much of the wiring harness is needed for the F.I. Swap. Do I need to remove just the harness in the engine compartment or do I also have to take the one out that leads into the car.

Took the engine apart today and brought the head and the block to the machine shop, Also dropped off the 5 speed trans at my friends shop for rebuild.
Here's some engine shots I took earlier before taking it in.

machine shop is just going to do a mild bore on the block, I decided to keep it as stock and mild as possilble since this is my commuter car.

Wow didnt see this thread. Looks like we are in the same boat, swapping and rebuilding and tearing apart donor cars lol.

Sounds like you are already ahead of me somewhat, at least on the engine rebuild, as I havent even pulled the engine from my donor car yet.

So far things are going real well both the machine shop and trans shop say that I might get everything back by the end of next week

I'll get back to you on the taillamps I havent really looked at them and I'm not to sure on the condition, as for the eyelid I think I may have gotten rid of the left side already.

its on my dx now like pico said....i think bitesize got a new front bumper for cheap.....they are cheap but it was not worth geting a new one for my dx....i say hit a junkyard....sometimes you can find super clean ones....i think my chassis is a lil bent or something cuz my front bumper sag more than monkeys tities

yeah i went to the junkyard almost every weekend for a while and all of the 88-89 bumpers were gashed or had cracked bumper lights or didn't have the vent things so i just gave up. I will go back soon though maybe get lucky...

Got my block and head back today from the machine shop.
Std. Rod and Main Bearings, 20 over on the pistons and rings,
Just waiting for my buddy at the Transmission shop to finish up my transmission and then I'll be ready to install everything
Rebuilt Engine and 5 speed swap
