Distributer help please.....

Hey guys,

Can someone tell the differences between my 86 LXi 5 speed distributer and an 88 LXi auto distributer? They appear identical on the outside. Everything is the same including the connectors. I believe it is the Tek style. Plug wires face the hood and coil wire faces the firewall.

i belive there the same the only ones that are dif are the lx,dx the lxi, sei are the same

there is no diff.
make sure the vacuum advance can hold the vacuum. many accord distributors have this problem. when i replaced mine, the car was a lot happier.

All the Junk Yard books said they were not compatible but the 88 auto was the only one I could find.
