Knighthawk Black Pearl Paint *New Paint* *Show PIcs* Lots Of Pictures!

Alright, I havent been on 3geez talking around the forums much lately but here I am back. Accord is Painted and ready for the 3Gee community to see again... I wanted to post pics sooner but I told myself I would wait until the show to take pictures.
Mods: AEM Cold Air Intake,4th Gen Throttle Body, Port n Polished Cylinder head, Pacesetter Header, Full 2 1/4" exhaust (no cat), Magnaflow Muffler, Delta 272 Cam, MSD Blaster Coil, Taylor Wires.
Tom Motorsport Coilovers 3" drop 3.25" rear. Short Shifter (Pacessetter). 17" Niche Putella Wheels wrapped in Falken Ziex 512 Tires. KYB Gr-2 struts.
Flamethrower kit for the crowd (a little fast and the furious rice but oh well)

B16 Intake Manifold and I have the lip but just have to put it on 89 teg Lip. And I just have to put it as well my cool racing wheel my gf got me for my birthday lol. dont worry its tasteful.

Just getting out of the paint shop.. and yes it is stock honda knighthawk black color it has a blue flake in it so in direct sunlight it has a nice blue shimmer I love it!!

For Body Mods I shaved the emblems and kept the side moldings, I didnt want to take the 3 out of the 3gee. So now I am badgeless 8)

I tried to get some close ups in the sun so I coudl show you guys the blue in the paint, I was really impressed and so was the painter who I got to paint it for me, he really like the color and he ended up putting 7 coats of clear coat on I think it was to get it to really stand out. I was always so jealous of everyone posting their new paint jobs and now I finally get to post mine!!

wow that is nice....i still want some engine pics with all thoes mods....so yeah does the 4rd gen tb go on with out any mods? the stock tb is like 58mm and the max it can be bored out is like 68mm

Yeah the 4th gen TB went on with no problems its all the same color hoses and same bolts and everything just its a bit bigger, I found it while searching on here that it was an easy mod to do.

Definitely AOM material. I absolutely love it! Wow, nice to see beautiful 3geez popping up now. You should paint the license plate plastic trim piece too and lose the chrome fender trim or paint them black to make it cleaner. I love it!

that tail light configuration is interesting..not sure how i feel bout it lol. it's too bad u can't clear that darked section cause that would look really hot.

damn that really is AOM stuff right there, love what you did with the tail lights, it suits the car very well, shiney color aswell JDM corners would suit that car o so well . great work :thumbsup:

Thanks, the chrome pieces on the fenders do serve a purpose im still not sure if I like them yet I'm just feeling them in right now. The one rear wheel well pretty much needed to be rebuilt because it was so rusted so to make it look a little sharper my painter suggested these, he really wanted to put them on because they do accent the chrome around the windows which i do like, but he does have black ones if I would like so I'm just gonna test both out, but I think I'll end up with the black ones.
I wish i could get my hands on some jdm lenses, and I'm still trying to figure out something to make my taillights different, I wish i could clear the orange because that would look awesome having the red and white. So far this is what I've come up with.

Amazing what a new high quality paint job can do to a car. As if your paint wasn't already in shiny good condition before, you can really now tell a difference from shiny old paint to a shiny brand new one. Your painter did an excellent job. How much did it cost you? The wheels also topped it all off. For some reason they look bigger now that the car is lowered. Great move removing all the badges and painting all the trim as well. A nice front lip and a rear spoiler would finish that car off perfectly.

Seeing your car makes me wish honda re-made the 3gee again but with a modern interior and technology like the new Civic Si. Also the 197hp K20A from the Civic Si. I'm sure they still have the molds for the sheetmetal presses to make the body. Ah, that would be a dream...

sweet man, that looks real clean. black accords are my fav, especially since i own one. an inspiration for me. how much did it cost you and what all did the painter do? and yeah, aom material for sure. engine bay shots would just cap it off. and the 4g tb is a direct bolt-on improvement?

Yeah, just wish the money fairy would drop me a visit soon........lol..... A K24 with a type R K20 head would be a beastly setup, plus some boost added on top of that....sick I tell ya.
