i get mine through honda and i think i can get them cheaper. just replaced two of them. ill figure out the price and get back to you.
every dealer i talked too said it wasn't available
I just ordered one through majestic honda (www.hondaautomotiveparts.com) I just got the shipment today, but I haven't verified the order yet. I'm sure they sent me one, since I paid for it.
When they said it wasn't available, I'm assuming they probably meant they would have to order it. I dunno...

hey does anybody know off the top of their head what direction the center nut turns on the pump to remove it? is it a reverse thread in other words. the one that holds on the pulley. It looks like a standard seal,so I should be able to remove it without even removing the pump. I will use one of the old pumps for measurements to make a seal driver tool.
Nevermind, no need for a puller. Used to using one....

good find tim, maybe they dont carry it in ur part of town, and someone like urself might have the same problem, and this can help them out
bump,so what direction does the nut turn to loosen to get the pulley off?Originally Posted by lostforawhile
ok advance auto parts sells a complete pump rebuild kit now. this contains every seal in the pump. the part number is 3869520. it even contains the big rubber seal around the pump impellers. rebuilding one of these is pretty straightforward. you take off the pulley. take out the bolts, and disassemble the pump. clean it,then reassemble it. make sure to fill it with fluid and turn it by hand before you install it. this lubricates all the parts. the main trick is watching how the impellers go in and keeping it completly clean. this is a high precision pump and won't tolerate dirt. it's built almost exactly like an oil pump. does anyone know the torque that the bolts need to be torqued too?
Should turn clock wise, opposite of lefty loosey righty tighty.
I already figured that out,I took the pump apart for cleaning. I just need the torque of the five bolts that hold the pump together,if they are toqued wrong the pump could lock up like an oil pumpOriginally Posted by BITESIZE
