    Lightbulb world best diy immobilizer

    http://www.autospeed.com/cms/article.html?&A=0059

For anyone who has seen this on autospeed and can't make heads or tails of this wiring schematic. I have instruction (Thank to a good friend) and parts needed are from RadioShack. It works good total cost $25.......

run a length of wire from the negative lead of the L.E.D. to a good ground.

    - connect the other L.E.D. lead to pin 1 of the DPDT relay.

    - run a length of wire to 12V and connect a 1a fuse to it. You will have three leads coming off of this fuse.

    - run one of these leads to pin 5 of DPDT.

    - run another lead to pin 4 of DPDT.

    - run the last lead to one side of the reed switch.

    - run a wire from the other side of the reed switch to pin 7 of DPDT.

    - run another length of wire from pin 7 of DPDT (for a total of 2), run this one to one side of the NC push button switch.

    - from the other side of this NC switch, run a length of wire to pin 6 of DPDT.

    - connect pin 8 of DPDT to a good ground.

    - connect pin 3 of DPDT to one of the contacts of the main (SPST) Shutoff relay, usually pin 85 or 86 it doesn't matter which.

    - connect the other pin, 85 or 86, to a good ground.

    - locate the circuit you want to cut off (i chose the fuel pump) and cut that wire.

    - connect the cut wires to pins 87 and 30/51 one to each.

    - if the L.E.D. doesn't flash, switch leads.

what's all the other crap for? you can make one with a 15a switch by itself going to the fuel pump, that's the best b/c if your car is carbed and it gets hotwired then it will turn on but run out of gas after 1/2 a block, good anticarjacking too

yes, the magnet deactivates the circuit. I havn't seen the schematic but i take it the magnet trips the releay via the magnet rather then an electrical source like a typical relay (for work i use realys like altronix rbsn 2amp or rb5 5 amp, or even the al_60 multi-function timer relay)

ohhh its a double-pull/throw switch..... I use these as door contacts all the time when i integrate berg systems and access control systems. So i only install one contact, one has a NO state and one has a NC state. works good for electric strikes + maglocks on a single door.

very sweet schematic...has anyone done this yet?

well....its in a NC state inline with the magnet...so if you push the button, it arm's....and i think if you simply remove the magnet it arms as well.
