    new to the forum

    hi i am new to this forum i went looking for a site that could help me with my project car that i recently bought. and this site seems to be great for things to do for your car. and this car needs alot of help

    welcome to the site have fun learn some new stuff about the 3rd gen accord, please fell free to use the search feature its your friend and will open the doors to almost all of your questions, feel free too post pics of your project

    to 3geez...if you have any questions just use the search option on the corner or else people get mad if you ask the same question like how to make my car fast with 2 pens and a drity mag...lol well post some pics of your car.

    i bought a 1986 honda accord. and the one emblem says its an exi but i haven't seen anything on the internet that says accord has made a model like that. so i have been thinking it could be some other type of honda. and here are some pics of the car along side my twin brothers 88 LX

    yes i have got a twin brother who bought an 88 lx but his car needsa new engine the head on is car is cracked. and mine needs a new transmission. and my plans for the car is to make a nice drivable car that could possibly beat some of the cheap ass civics around our city.

    thats cool. well yeah this is a good start. i joined since i needed some carb help and now i own 2 of them and one is geting some major mod done to it....tell your brother to join also

    Welcome dude!! Always good to see New members, And don't sweat if you slip up and god forbid you forget to or can't find something on search. If someone lashes out then they need a life outside the internet.. But for the most part we have a lof of great individuals on this site!

    heres q cheap to look for trany. your twin brother might be able to find a head for his 3gee also good luck BTW theres a price list on that site also

    i dont think he will be looking for a new or used head the last owner had the head off for a while i guess and it must of rained or some thing but when he pulled the head off there was rust in all over the insides of the engine. and my accord when we tooka closer look at what we thought would be a little body work turns out to be a hell of alot pretty much the whole trunk and surrounding area needs to be replaced so were putting the engine into his car and some of the nicer parts that are mostly brand new on to his and scrapping the 86. and then i have to go in search for a new car

    o the trunk rust of doom ya not worth fixing that shame. good luck on finding your self another car hopefuly a 3gee..
    has a parts car thats rusted right out trunk is falling right out on it and doors are rusting out ect ect ect

    well my brother is going to give me his then he's going to buy a 85 prelude from a friend. were just trying to dicide if we should leave it carb or change it over to efi.

    Change to EFI =D it will be worth it, carbs give problems over time

    i was just wondering how hard is it going to be to switch it to efi if the car is only and lx
