CC Switch, Radio Shack

Howdy 3Geez'ers,

The cruise-control switch is dead, and I'm too much of a wimp
to live without cc. I want to replace the switch with a cheapo
toggle switch from Radio Shack, but I ain't no savvy with electricals.
Could someone tell me what size/rating switch I need from RS?
I think toggle switch looks real retro.

i think it would be easyer to go to the junkyard and pick up a switch and just plug it in. you are talking about the one in the left side on the dash right?

yeah man probaly like a dollar, or fivefingered discounted at the junkyard. thats where i got mine!!if not the radioshack or autozone.
ps you dont feel bad cause its just a switch!!lol

ya it would be alot easyer just to snag one at a yard there def small enough to fit in your pocket

I live in Houston, and we ain't got no junkyard. Probably city zoning law or EPA thing.

Yeah, I need the one on the left side of the dash. My knee kept hitting it
when I ingress, and the switch finally kaput.

u must be tall to hit your nknee on the dash im 6'1" and i cant say ive evr hit my knee there nor anywere else just ask anyone on here im sure they have one u can get hell id sell u mine if it dident have white spray paint on it
