Guys with log manifolds... What size tubing?

will 1.5" 90's and T's work? i think the BMC flanges are made for 1.5 pipe ends, but my 1.5 pipe seems too large to build a manifold out of, at least just from eyeballing.

the manifold sq is the squad is selling looks like its 1.5" if you look close at one of the pics.

just wondernig if anybody had to go 1.25" or if i can safely pursue a 1.5" turbo manifold project.

    Thanks in advance.

    http://mcmaster.com/ of course.

    schedule 40
    304 stainless
    1.5 diameter
    2 T's and 2 90 degree elbows.

    90 degree bends:
    1-1/2" 45605K213 $41.26
    2-1/4" 45605K515 $9.36

    T's:
    Part Number: 45605K625 $23.03 Each

the T's will work better with the 2.25 tall bends.

all my flanges and shit will be ordered through sam at www.bmcrace.com

my neighbor's father owns 'diversified welding' which is a really reputable local welding company in the northwest... i helped them move into their new building and hook up phones/computers, so they are eager to help me out with some projects.

i dunno if they have the appropriate tools to cut/mock up the manifold properly, so i may have to do most of that, but they can certainly weld it all up for me. i may have them try to build me a DP and 3" exhaust too, we will see how easy it is to work with them.

if using mild steel use schedule 40, if stainless you can use schedule 10 if youd like.
