    carb fuel cut

    some one on here was talking about a carb. having a fuel cut at a certain rpm but how would you do that?

    search is your friend buddy....change your fuel filters also.

    cuz the pump cant push the gas to get to the carb...so it leans out the mix...making it bad....when i changed my filters i felt a diference...i could chirp out a lil faster....lol...it was worth the 15 bucks i paid for the filters...mine were original also...cuz it did not want to come out the nice way...that to take a drill and some lube to take it off the lil cage thing and then pulled it with some pliers.

    ha but hes not asking about what cuts the fuel off honda put a fuel cut off stock on our cars

    true...i dont think carbs have fuel cut offs....A20A1 where are you? i think he said that fuel would still be in the bowl so we dont have a cut off....i rev my car to 5800RPM....no cut off....

    same here but there is i cut off on the lxi's no or is he thinking of a rev limiter

    i have red lined my lx-i im thinking of puting a MSD ignition box with a 6000rev limit chip since there isnt any power after like 5500 rpm...well i dont want to find out....might blow something.

    a20a1 was talking about a mod you can do to the carb to act as a rev limiter whitch i do not have. i have a carb and he said it was like a fuel cut at redline or close to it but how would you do that anyone know?

    Yeah these a20a1's dont have a fuel cut to my knowledge, On the one I have now and my old one Ill miss shifts and itll rev to bout 7800rpms, and havent blown anything yet. YIKES!

    ok well i just heard about a way to limit the rpms without a rev limmiter but thanks anyway.
