what kind of paint and primer did you use? if it's the cheap wal mart paint you just threw your money and time out the window. if you are going to use a rattle can paint, you need to use one designed for automotive applications. regular spray paint isn't designed to stand up to the extremes a car faces, it will chalk and fade very quickly. as far as primer the only rattle can primer thats worth a crap is the duplicolor self etch primer, or the nappa brand self etch primer. we tried a bunch of different cheap primers while we were doing the metal work, just as temporary primers to sand back off, and even the most expensive ones would rust through in a week. in other words the metal would rust through the primer. then you have to stop and clean and treat the metal before you can finish the work. you need the self etch to properly key to bare metal also, regular primers aren't designed to do this.

yep. use an automotive primer. if you go to bare metal, get a can of duplicolr self etch primer. follow the directions on the can. it's excellent under paint. if you have to fill over it,sand it off first, you can't put filler over it.

If it's got frame damage you may want to think seriously about another car...

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM

Yeah, your right... I get on his threads when I want a good laugh.. Because it is quite entertaining.

Oh and dude, I wouldn't put a red H on an old accord like that even if it was an OEM one, and ESPECIALLY not that Ghetto Fabulous one you have. Thats the most ghetto rigged red H I have ever seen.
