ok, i my car doesn't want to run anymore. it runs like shit. it is running on pure gas. it is sucks.
is there someking air valve that controls idle or something like that?

check the float level when the car is runnig and turn your mixture screw in more.

oohhh if i only new what to plug on the carb. i want to get rid of the vacuum so bad.
i need a picture of the carb from UK or somewhere else but US. i want to compare and see if i can plug some lines. and remove that black box.

you can remove all the lines

but you have to remove the choke and fast idle and fuel vent to the charchoal canister and plug plug plug all the vacuum line go k-razy... mwahahahaha!

actually you need to keep the ABC's (I mean the Air Jet Controller... just un-bolt it and hook the lines back up the way they were.
there are some funny diaphragms inside the black box that make it tough to decide what is actually nessecary to the carb running.
you're in about the same place where i decided "the heck with it" and pulled it all off.

ok where is ACCORD EX? i want to see his carb. he has one with no black box, and i think he still have choke.

right here... and Mikey does have a black box... but it's not in the black box... everything is mounted externally. you don't need anything since you have the mechanical secondary... just plug and remove things from the carb.... strip it down the the basic 2 barrel look of the weber... running without choke isn't a bad thing... it just means you need to work a bit harder to get the car started on cold mornings

where is Air Jet conroller located?

hmm I have a hunch cause this happened to me.... you know the venturies you removed? and you thought they were the main jets... well make sure they are screwed in tight... also make sure there isn't a gap that fuel can leak from... and make sure you didn't remove the pin form inside the primary venturi since this helps break the fuel up...

the air jet controller is near the black box... or the coil... it has 3 vacuum tubes and they are labled "A B C"

well i didn't touch them on my carb in the car. i just drilled the jets out. i didn't do anything to them

how did you drill the jets withe the carb still on the car? you would have needed to remove the jet cover thats under the float window... and there it too much crap in the way to ge the right angle.

i am sure it has something to do with air jet controller or something like that, because it is running way too rich and it looks like it just doesn't get any air in there or something.

I just realized my mechanical secondary is off by about 1mm - 2mm... which means no WOT.... and it will open later then what might happen under full throttle with the vacuum secondary... I still think the mechanical beats the vacuum 5:1

look down the barrels and watch the choke and watch the throttle plates... have someone press the gas or you can flip the throttle from the side of the carb... make sure it's all working. oh
hmm are you sure there isn't a vacuum leak... cause just one vacuum line broken or disconnected could mess everything up.
I really wish I was there... if i just could listen to it I might find the problem pretty quick.
if all else fails throw on the spare carb

nope wouldn't be the same... I need the audio subtleties and i doubt my speakers could reproduce any sound with quality.
and you're sure it's not a disconnected ground wire from the valve cover... and its not a fuse... I say just double check things, it only take a few minuets... I'm about to go out so I'll check back later tonight... maybe Eric will come in with an answer, but since you drilled the jets and possible changed other things it's hard to tell.
