    Smile how about a fake turbo?

    anybody down for a fake turbo? i mean a gizmo that makes that blow off valve sound... iwas laughing at it first... but then i thought it would be a fun project to do to our cars... hehehe.... anyways... here is the web address... tell me what you guys think of this.. i thought this would be nice.... and also.. who the hell would know that this is fake? unless they look under the hood...

    now that is flat out RICE; cmon, makeing your car look fast is one thing, and i can understand wanting a cool looking car. but COME ON, this is blatent FAKING PERFORMANCE.

    My friend has a VL turbo (VL's are Austrlian Cars made by Holden i.e. GM) and he always sets his blow off valve off....
    Some VL turbos can pull 9 seconds on the quarter....

    a 93 z34 that's getting parted out, an 86 accord lx that now lives in a j/y, and a 90 camry le that the state no longer allows me to drive. soon to be replaced with an aprilia rs50 or a derbi gpr.

    What's truly sad about this is that for the same manufacturing costs they could probably make a similar device that would offer small (but REAL) performance gains...

    ok hey guys wassup let me tell u the real deal now, or the ones who dont know me my friends think im crazy with my 89 accord i had pics up here but not n more n ways heres the deal i took the bypass valve off a mercury capri xr2 i dunno if n one knows wha car that is but n ways n i placed it with the little hole in the intake pipe thats supposed to connect to ur oil valve cover n then took one hose from the bypass valve n plugged it to tht little extra vacum output we have on the other side of the intake manifold n guess what i failed it didnt work n i was pissed bu heres the point a 3 gen is crazy n once or twice it make a blow off noice i dunno i guess when u rev it up a certain way its not that loud not that great n when it's running n sucking up air it sounds like a whistle but n ways its kool n it cost me 0 so try it out might be fun for u guys!!!

    Oh my god, that is the gayest thing i have even seen. u should be ashamed of ur self, :gay: i cant even believe that i bought this kit for my accord, so many ppl asked me if its a turbo, i say yes, but they dont believe me. i copped so much shit for installing it.

    Why would anybody ever invent that product? i'm not gonna say that it's gay, but... You could spend that money on something that would actually make your car faster.

    I would drop some cash on a mechanical product that produced the noise (of course I'm talking other than a turbo itself).. Around like $50cdn tops. But that electronic toy is a waste.

    Just record the sound and play it on your player and crank up the volume when you shift.
