    My new Fat Fives..

First, I want to start off by saying that I have had 185/75/13's , 195/65/14's , and now have 205/50/15's on the car. All I can say is WOW what a difference! I thought handling was improved going from the narrow stock 13's to the slightly wider and lower profile 14's. Man was I shocked at how much better this car handles when it has 205's on it! And even though he'll never see this post, Thanks to the guy that sold me a set of pristine fat fives with 4 continental sport contact 2's that have 2/3rds life left for only $100! Just sucks that I'll have to take them off for winter in a few weeks!

    Re: My new Fat Fives..

Well, All I have for a cam is my stupid cell. I am working on getting a good friend over to take some pics of the car before winter. You can see my 5's in my avatar. let me tell you, they are near perfect! No curb rash no nothing! one wheel has a small nick on it the size of a pin head. That's it. The guy even waxed the rims before I picked them up! What a guy! Found them on craigslist! But, there is some bad news to this whole story.... Driving down the highway today, I ran something over that litterally grabbed onto my rear passenger sidetire. It punctured the wheel so big that it looks like someone stuffed a spoon through it! in any event, I pulled over very quickly as not to damage my wheel. i then walked around to see that whatever had attatched itself to my tire, also decided to tear my whole wheel well to crap! I mean BAD! I came home after work and got right to work fixing it. 4 hours later and a stop at the local used tire shop for at least 2 tires... (Got toyo Proxeswith 2/3 tread for $60!) I nearly have my wheel well back. I was very lucky not to have damaged the wheel during this fiasco! I will be sure to post up some pics (even if they are crappy cell pics for now) when I get a chance. I took some when I was done for the night so I will start a thread in the pic section and post there...
P.S. Sorry this is so long...

On a side note, the guy I got the 5's from also threw in another style Integra wheel. he said it was off a 96 GSr.. no tire or center cap but might make a great full size spare! Here's a pic of it... I think they would look sweet on a 3gee!

And this is in worse shape then my 5's !!!!!

I'd bet these would look sweet on a 3gee. Anyone ever use them? i got a tire mounted on it today and plan on using it as a full size spare.

    Re: My new Fat Fives..

No, The guy I got the 5's off gave me just one that he had laying around. No tire or valve stem on it. I wish I had all 4, then I'd have a nice set of snows! I had the one remaining good continental sport contact mounted and balanced for a spare today (free) But then I realized that these are WAY to big to put in the spare tire well. What a dumb ass I am!

LMFAO! I can always mount it on the roof like a Baja car! Eh, at least i didn't have to pay for mounting, and i can still use it as a spare if i get a flat, I just have to make it home to put it on!

No, for $100 the guy gave me 4 fat fives with tires and a fifth bare rim, the one in the pic. Sorry for the confusion!
