2nd number is 60ft.. let's just say 3.3 60ft is pretty horrible.. It needs to be around 2.3 and below for good times. forgot what i2 is... I3 is 1/8th mile and then the mileage is right after it. 10.3 at 67mph.. i4 is halfway inbetween 1/4th and 1/8th..
E/T is 1.4th mile time and MPH is the trap speed. :]

small world. what was he waiting for. did the tree not light up? is that why they had the gun??Originally Posted by Busted_Blue
They were bracket racing. A bracket race is designed so that two unevenly matched cars can race each other fairly. Each driver chooses a "dial-in time" that they forcast their 1/4 mile elapsed time to be. The slower car get's a head start based in the 2 cars dial in times. If you go faster than your dial in time you automatically loose. The first person to the finish line wins. The trick here is to choose a dail in time that you can come vary close to without going under (faster).Originally Posted by Cheeseburger
For example, last time i went to the drags I dialed in my car 13.55. When i went up on the starting grid, i was racing against a dodge desiel truck which his dial-in was 18's. He went first, while i stayed at the starting grid what seemed to be like minutes. My light turned green and i was off. I passed him up and i finished the 1/4 mile first, but i lost because i broke out with a 13.5 and he ran higher then his dial-in

with a big vacuum leak
yup it was bracket racings.. 3 second gap..LOL
Bracket racing is all about consistency.. Good reaction times and consistent 1/4th times will make you win. Last time i was at the track I dialed in 16.50 and I had a .009 reaction and ran 16.506.
Busted_Blue have your room mate send me a copy of the video here my Email [email protected]
