    Gauge temp needle woes !

ok after putting new faces on my gauges, i realised i have some problems, the temperature needle, will move up to max when the needle should normally be halfway.

Ive already checked and checked, the car isn't overheating. That needle has never ever gone than far before, even with a cracked top tank and a dead thermo fan. So im certain I put the needle back wrongly.

Also with a gauge cluster from an 86 Carb'd accord auto fit my 88 efi accord?

any 3g cluster would fit any 3g cluster. and do watch out for the automatic and efi trims. for a 5spd and a carb, auto guage and efi guage does not matter to be honest. but for an automatic and a efi, the guages should be from the same trim.
