Used muffler clamps purchased from autozone then cut rivets out, only tool two clamps and workd out just right, the holes left in the intake from other deleted items seemed to match up perfectly. Cut cable linkage off original card and drilled out the cente hole, then put in nylock nut and bolt, once it is adjusted perfectly for secondary opening and auto transmission cable adjustjment is finishted, then I will drill out a hole for a steel rivit on the cable linkage on the carb. This carb came off a mazda so the shaft linkage piece is kinda long, I am concerned about early throttle shaft bushing wear, but I dint use honda kit for linkage, just plate adapters. I used heat resistant epoxy once three adapter plates were bolted and ported, and yes polished insides. the foil tape is heat resistant , yes it looks ghetto but better than the globs of epoxy. the foil tape holds up to furnace heat so we will see. Ultimatley I want to make heat sheilds to cover up that area. much like sevantys model fords used on two barrel engines. It would look cleaner .
