    My Father Is BLIND!!!!!!

I just found out today that my dad backed up his beat up ford ranger into my accord , he crushed my left parking light and crushed the front of the fender , and instead of being sorry for what he did he blamed me for parking the wrong way, he didnt bother looking at his mirrors or using the muscles in his neck to turn his head, i was parked 2 car lengths away and he couldnt see me??? After some time talking he said he was sorry and would pay for it, im going for estimates tommorow for it!
Man when i first seen it i was like.... and then i felt like......

hope it dont cost to much cuz he probably wont pay for it.......and i will...

That same EXACT thing happened to me 3 weeks ago. My damage was a little worse because my car is lowered and my dad went right up it. $350 later its fixed, and he paid for it.

Hey 88lxi68 did your dad act like a dildo after he hit your car or was he apologetic? Hehe nice one Mike, very very very tempting , or i can just steal his left fender and parking light, he has a 88 accord lx (he a copy cat, he bought his 5 days after i got mine, he got the car even though my mom said not too cuz they didnt have the $). Well i got a estimate today at a body shop and they said they can fix it for $182 bux, told my dad and he was like WHat!!!! Thats to much, he thought it was like a 40 dollar job , so he said he is going to find a place thats going to do it cheaper (like a $hit hole), I know hes gonna take his sweet time So Im gonna be checking out the junk yards for a left fender (hopefully same paint as my car) and left parking light, i cant stand seeing my car like that .

Do you guys know if the 86 87 accords front fenders are the same as the 88 89's? thx

My dad was real pissed after it happened, but its straight though cause i got all my moldings painted after that. The fender and headlight bucket were $80. Now I park on the grass, and the damage to his car was minimal!!!

yes and no, the front fenders are the same size and shape, but the blinkers for the 86-87 are orange compared the blinkers for the 88-89 which are clear.

    NO! and YES!

    Hey,
the 88-89 blinker will not fit in the 86-87 bumper perfetly. The 86-87 have two screws in the front to put them in and the 88-89 have one screw from the bottom soI dont see how youwill make it fit. If you want clears on your 87 then cut some clear plastic material, some of the other guys can tell you what they use, something like flourescent light covers cut out and drilled two holes in them, I think. Anyway, I'm kind of tired of seein clear fronts on EVERY CAR, so I painted mine Transparent RED when I did the tails red. It matches and looks nice and clean! Look below!

Wow, it's like de ja vu. My dad backed his Ford F-150 up into my brothers prelude a year ago. Smashed the fender in and spiderwebbed the mirror. My brother just hammered out the fender a month ago. The whole left side of his car has rust spots now from the Minnesota road salt splashing up. My dad didn't pay for anything.
