    Surely this is bull.

Is this the same as that resistor mod?
I havnt seen one on ebay like it, im curious what this does to your car for them to make the claims they do.

smells like BS in here to me,that ad sounds hokey for any performance product. remember the TORNADO is suppposed to be a miracle too. increases performance with the same gas milage? signal stays withing manufacturers specs? if it does that how does it work? if the manufacturer could make all that performance and stay within the parameters why doesn't the OEM? in other words it does nothing whatsoever. lets say the specs for an oem module fall between -5 volt and plus 2 volts,if the module keeeps within specs it falls between -5 and plus 2 volts. so what does it do? this is a general example I'm talking about. that EGGSSTRACTOR was a great product too. NOT!

Well its hooked to the IAT sensor so its modifiying the signal. I would think its making it think the air is colder coming in then it realy and make the car richer but its very early and low on coffee.

You can try unpluging the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator it will give you about 3 psi more pressure accross the board. See what you think.

if you want a bump if performance you should just get the 4th gen map sensor. if you go to the junkyard you can get it for free.

spend your money on REAL performance parts, not gimmicks like ebay chips and tornados. Haha or the E-supercharger

Big thing is to see how our cars are running like with a wideband conroller. From what I have seen they are lean mid rpm and run richer as it get to the redline. Then tune from there.

    HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA, omfg.

yes it does exactly what the resistor does, they just happen to find a 20 pin IC that happens to have the same resistance between the 2 pins on that chip.

i wish i could talk to some of these people.

    35hp my ass.

No it is not. Each module is programmed to fit the vehicle in the title only. Even though all of our module looks the same we distinguish which application by the part number on the module.

uhhhhhhh. i know its bullshit, but if someone even has a close concept of a theory then please explain.

i also forgot to ask, does anyone know the resistance that is needed anyway to pull this trick off.

it's a scam, it's not worth your money. but i must admit i bought a tornado. but only because i was at the jy and couldn't refuse paying $2 for a "reflector." but i haven't put it in and seen if it really does anything. (which i doubt it will.)

    That's right!

Here's what they say in the auction:

It reprograms a Read Only Memory through the IAT sensor. This chip is sooooo technologicaly advanced that it only needs 2 pins to do so..

Yeah right!!!! This is only a resistor that "looks" high tech.

If only they used this chip.

Yeah the IC is the bling part og it.

If you have the helms theres a graph I think of the sensors out put based on temps. Finding a compatiable resistor and wiring it in should be pretty easy.
