Help!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm doing my water pump and timing belt right now. I can't get the damn crankshaft bolt out! I want to make sure I'm turning it the right way, Anyone know what direction it goes? Clockwise or counter clockwise??? HELP PLEASE!!!! I've looked everywhere and nothing says what direction!

the same as every other bolt... anticlockwise, just get someone to sit hard on the brakes or jam the flywheel with a screwdriver maybe
That's what I thought. I had a 10 foot pipe on the end of my 2 foot breaker bar and I was hanging on it and it still didn't come loose. I think the last person who changed it put red locktite on it. I even heated it, tried PB blaster, Liquid Wrench, Deep Creep and everything else under the sun! F-it! If the belt goes, it's a good excuse to get an LX-I and swap parts! On a side note, the water pump was easy as pie! Oh, and my neighbor up the street, a good friend of mine, just bought an 87 LX. It's in pretty rough shape body wise, but the interior is mint and the engine runs strong. now there are 2 gen 3's and 2 gen 4's on my street and there are only 6 houses! HA HA Honda Forever!
