Hey, awhile ago I was told I should have my wheel bearing replaced. I think thats what I am feeling when I am on the feeway, and when I accerate hard out of turns. when I am on the freeway I feel a pulsation (it's no the brakes) and when I accel hard out of turns I feel a pulse and low rpms then when I straighetn out pulse goes away and rpm's shoot up. Anyone else think it's the bearings?
Freeway test might be misleading.. Lift the car and grab the wheel with both hands (along a diameter) and try shaking the wheel out of its plane, alternate pushing with one hand, pulling with the other.
like Dan said, have the car jacked up and look for loose joints in ur bearing. if they like slide from side to side or shake as in u move ur knuckles, then its ur bearings. u can also check for other bushing/bearings on the other stuff that might be loose too.
