    Dash board

    Ive been trying to take off my dash in my 89 lxi and i took off all the screws, bolts, and wiring stuff. the dash is pretty lose but right in the middle it seems to be caught. so now im kinda stuck and dont no wat to do.

    Picopop did it...i think he said that below the radio part there are 2 screws

    there is a big bolt right behind the clock on the dash and there is 2 screws below the radio

    thanks, i finally got it out. but i think im goin toneed a lot of help putting it back in becasue i dought i will remember were everything goes.
    Does any one no where ican get vinel spray for the dash. it was out of a87 lx, a dark blue color?

    try the auto part store...i got some duplicolor plastic paint.

    for the upper part of the dash, use duplicolor vinal/plastic dye. for the bottom use krylon fusion. those are what i've used and had luck with. wal mart, autozone, pepboy's, oreilly's, napa, they have the paint you will need. i'd try wal mart first, they are usually cheapest.

    okay i will probally pick up some paint tomorrow, thanks for all the help.
    when i get done with my whole car i will post some pics, but thatmight be a while.

    not in myopinion becasue i took out so many screws and bolts, wires and i just hope i know were to pput them.

    you dont have to remember, you just plug everything into each other that fits and just put it in and just put the bolts in random holes, mines held on by just5 or so bolts, the 2 on the sides, 1 behind the clock, 1 down behind the head unit and i think one on the drivers side, and its in all strong. just think of it as a ppuzzle

    yaeh i guess your right, im just stressed from all the other work imdoin on the rest of mycar.
