the code i looked at on a website, and 2 books full of battery codes, was the wrong one, it didnt fit the terminal thingies right, but idc, good nuff, cheap-ish too for a new one. my half assed fix:


the most petrol ever been in this car all year (since i got it)


a shitty skid on dry grass, sucked a bit coz wen in 2nd gear it goes down to 3krpm and climbs ever so slow:


and my bumper is slowly warping itself again but idc, and you cant see in the pic coz the camera flashed, but it is in a very major need of a wash cause of all the oil/hand prints/cat prints, hidious "gloss white" paint etc..

Did you imply there are govt codes about the way your battery is set up in your cars? Or your use of the word code is means your own standards.....
I noticed I had not seen you post in a while, glad your back in the swing of things, the pictures are great. YOur car looks a lot better, you musta washed it or something... lol
Does your car drop rpm like that on a full out WOT at the 2-3 shift run on the road?, ,maybe bump up the timing 2 or so degrees if your octane is high enough there. That would help. and tire pressure..lol

i managed to get the timing all good, dizzy is a lil advanced though, warming up procedure is still a heap of shit, but idc about that at the moment, i would rather get my windows fixed

sorry I got the point you said about being street legal and inspection decals, along with something about battery codess all scrambled up. I forgot you had the idle problems, and wondered if your powerband was falling off at the 2-3 shift, that would be sound like a ign timing slight adjustment, providing everything else was cool... so never mind then,you didnt ask anyways. So I will go shut up and color...

lol shame, today, after about 50k driving, on our way home it stalled at the lights, wouldnt start, cop was on other side of intersection, had the hazards on, and the cop didnt even think to come our way and help, they saw us too :@ well eventually got it started, pulled over in park and stalled again, wouldnt start, tach was jumpy as, i thought it was the coil, but under the bonnet, i saw that the dizzy fell out lol, lucky i have tools and millions of bolts in the car and luckily the dizzy can only go in 2 ways just lucky we got a new battery. and lucky the dizzy aint got them cog ends like on other cars, that would suck. well luckily i know the car well....


and also tested the cruise control for the first time today, i didnt know it would work lol, good car
