    hot to change sinchros??b2k5 transmission

    so i decided to change my sinchros to new ones. espesially the sincro of reverse gear. then 1st and 3rd gears. who can tell me how to do that in easy way? should i take off the tranny or transmission housing will be enough? i am going take sinchros from a2k5 or e2k5 gearboxes? will they fitt?

    well to get to all the synchros you have to remove the whole tranny. there is no other way around it.
    what car did those gearboxes came off?

    according to twoloundnproud the b20 syncros cant be replaced by the lude b20a5 syncros....you have to get them imported if you can find them...or make custom ones that will cost $$$$$

    lol i think i don't need sinchros. my reverse gear is fucked. then car is cold in the morning then everythink is fine, the reverse gear turns smooth but after some time (after an hour maybe) it gets to hard to turn it on, it does : grrrrr... whats wrong? becouse this gear doesn't have sinchro

    when did you change the oil in the tranny last?
    If the oil is too thick sometimes it won't let you shift untill it warms up.
    Try this, before you put in reverse, shift into 2nd gear and after that shift into reverse.

    actually don't know. 10w-40 will fit?

    10w40 should be fine.

    maybe a bearing problem on the gearset? sounds like it could be something like that. i'd recommend not just replacing a few parts, but as many as possible when replacing the syncros. hope you have done this before.
