Is it bigger than the st bar? I know, search, but I'm too lazy. + I'd rather hear it from someone who actually did it anyway. Do you have the st front bar? How does your car handle at the limit?

Has that been proven by someone measuring it or by someone comparing them visually?

Yeah, I will have to go out and measure my ST bar. I think the vigor might actually be thicker.

Re: ST sway bar is rubbing

I'll get a better one tomorrow, it helps when I don't hold it sideways like that.

I haven't seen an ST bar but the Vigor bar made my stock 88 LX-i look very very puny. As far as how it improves handling I can't really say since I installed it about a week after I bought the car and I still have hella shitty worn out OEM struts.

It looks like Suspension Techniques merged w/ some other company and changed the look of their products. Same stuff, just GREEN.
Here's a link to their website. And they still have anti-sway bars and springs for the 3g! The rear bar is 5/8" dia. according to their applications list.
    http://www.stsuspensions.com/
    .
Here's some blurb from their site:
Green means GO on a new era at ST Suspensions
The recent integration of ST into the KW automotive group has greatly expanded our manufacturing capabilities. Both our American and European based manufacturing facilities are equipped with contemporary CNC operated machines and computer supported production and assembly lines to ensure that rigorous quality standards are upheld.
On last years SEMA show in Las Vegas, ST introduced it's new style to the public.

Re: ST sway bar is rubbing

ok, so what, we need a pic of someone holding a dial caliper (I have one) or whatever you call the stupid thing on both bars? Damn, it's so hard to get straight info on here!

The last thing I want is to get my gc coilovers, swap my swaybars, and then have my car be totally spin happy. I'll test it out in a big parking lot. But at least now we have a couple options as far as the rear bar..

I'm 99.9% sure that the vigor bar is indeed bigger than the addco or s/t rear bars. A friend picked one up locally for $10 too! By far the best bang-for-the-buck suspension mod.

The bat might be bigger but the difference in materials is something we must consider. A smaller bar can be stiffer.

Re: ST sway bar is rubbing

Yeah, but when you're comparing solid rear bars I'd think the material difference is negligible.

I adjusted the sway bar while working on my rear suspension tonight. After a little bit of adjustment, I got the bar to stop touching the LCA .
