I didn't want to make the this thread, but my curiosity over-ruled. If you want to contribute, we would all like to hear.
Anyhow, I'll try to make this short. I've owned the car 3 years before I joined this site. (just a fact)
One of the main reasons I come back to visit the forum is to help out in the mechanical section & see what people are doing to their cars. I'm all about cars BTW.

well I have been on this board before it moved here. So i guess i have been on this board since 2000 or 2001, can't remember the correct year.
My first accord was 86 LX. I hated the carb and all those vacuum lines.
My second accord that i own at present time is 86 LXI auto. I bought it for $150 with blown engine. After a month of rebuilding the engine and swapping to 5 speed, it ran.
So i guess i am a true veteran.

well like i was saying at picos house....i googled 1988 honda accord and for some reason oldschoolswap page came up.....this was back in 2003. i saw a link to 3geez but i never joined just looked for like 10 mins....anyways one day i was looking for carb help and i found it again....i joined but i forgot wut email i used to activate my account....so i just looked around then i came up with messyhonda88dx after my first car....i got to say this board is very friendly....some people are like family here.....its always good to know that your not the only one with problems or mods plus i like to help out ppl and share the knowleg

well for me this is my first car it was handed down to my from my mom she got a 2002 2 door civic which is fun to drive but i like the accord better i joined back in 2002 2003 under a different screen name but forgot the password so i made a new one lol. i like reading the different blogs about mods and other things to make the these cars look and drive better and all the people on here seem really nice and willing to help out.

I joined to get help with getting my carbed car running, and just stayed for the atmosphere. I enjoy showing others my work, and helping others with their work when I can lend a useful tip.

some mods dont visit alot....but you java....you are the active one....even tho you dont have a 3gee you have 2 honda van....one that is pimped out...LOL...when are you going to do the top end swap?

I had just bought an 88 accord ex-i and was just searching it online and found this site... joined, and now i always check to see wut u guys are doing to your 3gee to give me ideas.... my car is now parked since i've started school and dont make enough money for insurance now... but im planning to start doing some body work over the winter... fixing rust mainly maybe start shaving moulding depends how good i get at fiberglassing lol

Pretty much the same. I love the design of my car and I have had it 10+ years now. I really started here because of a few people that used to be on here spewing a bunch of garbage that was untrue just to make themselves a profit but that has since past.

I really think theres been nice progress of knowledge in the last few years. Just look at some of the older post.
