Aerodecks. What the hell are they, do I have one, do I want one, are they the same thing as the avg. 3g 'cords? Are they available in the US?

I have disgraced myself in the eyes of HondaBoy. I have bought an American car. My shame is great...
NOT...lol...Cobalt FTW!!!
They are basically a station wagon accord. in a way I think a member has one on here in new zealand. I don't think they are available in the US of A. Could be wrong though

LMFAO @ " What the hell are they, do I have one, do I want one, "
I could consider it an extended hatchback, because it only has two doors. To call it a stationwagon kinda puts it down a notch.
^^^^ true.![]()
i have two aerodecks... gonna post pics when i start rebuilding it..
who says a station wagon cant be cool...
Aerodecks are da sex!
the only cool station wagons are the volvo 145's and the volvo 245's ....Originally Posted by gosse
i'd call it a hatchback too, though it looks like a wagon cause of the high back.
I don;t think the hatch and the aerodeck were sold in the same markets either. at the time hatches were cool here in the us... now days i think the aerodeck would be sold here instead of the hatch
and im not usually a fan of wagons or american cars but i've seen some newer wagons from dodge that look pretty tight..Originally Posted by 1ajs

Ok thanks guys, that clears it up a bit. I'm assuming they had the same USDM type engines? Eg.: 89 aerodeck = 89 sedan/coupe (2.0 PGM-FI 1955cc, yada yada yada...) Correct me if I'm wrong.
Oh and that aerodeck has a nice ass. Way better than the civic wagon thing. (Or maybe it's just that I know what's under the hood.) That Volvo S80 has a nice sexy ass too. Lol.

I'm a big fan of the aerodecks... They also came in 2.0si trim which had a 2.0l DOHC b20a... But those seem pretty rare. Apparently there is an aerodeck here in Calgary, all my friends have seen it, but I have not... The guy apparently moved, as the car is no longer outside the home it used to be outside of all the time.
