The car is owned by a mechanic for Accuformance is East Point, GA, just south of Atlanta. They got the engine and tranny by chance as part of a shipment from SAP in Europe. Yes, it does run, and runs well, the cam gears are from a 90 Accord so I'm told by him. He said he would be able to do another swap if someone would come up with the money to do it, and would complete it. He can get the engines and 5 speed trannies. I don't know about the price. He said he would also do 5 speed conversions for A20's.
His labor rate is not cheap, but his work is good.

Yes it is. I swear up and down the intake on that car is the stock A20 one. If I remember right, he said he had to run a couple of extra wires because he used a Prelude ECU due to the DOHC, but that was it.

The swap cannot be that hard. I just worry about tranny parts. It is that worry that has kept me from going to 20 miles down to see him, leaving my car there for a month, and coming back with a B20 of my own.

In the FAQ, it says there were some with carbs instead of EFI, but I think the one I saw was a b18a not the b20a, come to think of it.

Check the JDM B18A post The picture is smaller but the engine looks the same except for the 2 carbs

From looking around 86/87 style B20A's are much easier to come by but there are a lot of automatics. I am trying to find a Black top already mated with the 5spd so i dont have to mess with the flywheel and stuff.
