    Headers 4-2-1 vs 4-1

I got a header for my other car the other day. I didn't know it was a 4-1 till I got it. Anyways. I read the FAQ about the differences of the two, but is that true for all 4-1's? Can some one give me a good comparison of the two for any car?

general rule is that 4-1 headers are good for upper PRM gains.
4-2-1 are good for lower and a little for upper HP gains.
