I wouldn't talk about it if I didn't have it; haven't you guys seen my other thread with swap details and engine pics yet?!? Okay,I'll post the pics on this thread again.
Hey Ep, I'm gonna need some fu*kin' slicks. LOL
BTW, you dyno that beast of yours yet? What are the numbers? Mad props for your whip, man. From what I understand, you did all the engine work yourself, right? I've said it before, that killer set up you got makes me nervous! When I get my shit straight with my license and my whip, I'd love to meet up and race and shoot the shit. As a matter of fact, I travel to Buffalo a couple times a year; I'm going to the Leaf game this Wednesday, the 22nd - Buffalo's gonna get smoked!!! LOL

This is going to look good I bet!
I'd give you the more complicated explanation for posting pics, but to make things easy there is a little button on top of the box that you type in. There is a picture of a mountain on it. If you hover the mouse over it the words "Insert Image" will pop up. When you click on it, a little box will pop up. Paste the image link into the box and you're set!
Nice dude. Nothing like some v-tec.Originally Posted by H22AccordSE-IV

Yeah seriously if you shot a fairly good qualty vid of that and burned it onto DVDs you know everyone here would buy a copy.
well props to your setup man, thats more rare than an A20T! Ehh i wasnt sure if you really had it or not, there have been a few guys talking about H22 swaps (most of them ricers/shit talkers) i wasnt sure if you were for real or what lol. Well, get some slicks, i cant hook on street tires at all either. I bet you surprise alot of people with that car on the road, have you raced it yet? Yeah i built my setup myself but i have alot to do after i killed engine #2 a number of weeks ago, i need to finish my obd1 conversion, swap turbos, make a new turbo manfold with external wastegate (old one might come up for sale in a few mos) upgrade intercooler and injectors and go for big power. The engine isnt even broken in yet when it popped. Oh yeah new crank and rods meh... Have you thought about boosting the H22? An agressive clutch and 9-10 psi boost will make that thing haul SERIOUS ASS (im talking low-mid 12s)

I've thought about turbo, seriously, and I'd love it just to here the sound of the blow-off valve in action (LOL), but then I thought about keeping it NA and trying to pull 300 ponies out of the engine; custom intake manifold by Altech, P&P, new cams/cam gears, rods, pistons, Performance header, full catback exhaust, chipped ECU, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, bigger injectors, LSD, lightened flywheel, ACT clutch, light-weight pulleys etc. What else can bolt on for some extra juice? What do you guys think? NA or Turbo H22a? Let me know.

turbo is always cheaper in the long run.

true, id say 300whp on boost is prolly doable at well well under 13 psi in that setup, the only problem with the h22 is that they tend to have weak cylinders and ringlands much after that, but for 300whp i would just boost it on the stock motor it should be absolutely fine on a stock build. Besides a turbo h22a 3g would be the only one in existance afaikOriginally Posted by MessyHonda

I think there is something you have to reinforce to before you try to boost an H22A. I'm going to look it up and get back.
Thanks for the pics I was just wondering where the hell the pics of the engine for because of course this is YOUR H22 ACCORD PICS thread right?
lol but props to you man and I hope those lights finish well for you.
OK, so it's not boost. But I can tell you want forged pistons you will have to sleeve the walls.
That was what I was confused about.
i love what you did with the engine and i give you two thumbs up for wanting to stay NA.
beside the mods you mention, you can try the stroket kit http://www.crower.com/cat/import/hon.../stroker.shtml
it should make 2.2 into 2.5L. more torque and more power. with stroket kit and some head work done, sleaved cylinder block, nice cams and intake manifold and i think you can pull out 300hp or preatty close to it.
Alex.
Thanks.
How does the stroker kit change the displacement exactly?

sweet ride!! i never thought id see the day when an h22 makes the wheels of a 3rd gen roll.
3geez for life.
