    You sir are welcome.
yup! i had a brand new center section and stage3 63ar exhaust housing sitting in a box.lol
But I had to throw in a 60ar compressor housing and smaller wheel.
the up side is that it spools a hella lot faster and will support up to 350HP.

It is cool! I thought you were making conversation.
I want that tool box it's freakin cool.

could you do me a favor and remove the pic's?
the text is fine, but those pic's are huge.lol.
    thank you.
i resized them down to small sorry, the tool box is over 50 years old, i had a terrible time finding the aeroquip decal, it's vintage 86 and a bunch of my lines and fittings are the same vintage stuff as the decal. i like your stuff you posted very cool. even with my vintage 72 carbs eventually going to running some sort of data logging air fuel stuff to get them set up right.

another thing some of the turbo guys do,is to run a vaccume pump off of the crankcase, the vaccume drawn on the case pulls out all the blowby, and the negative pressure can help your rings seal better also. if you ditched the ac,like a lot of people have, good location for one, the Morosso pumps are pricey, but if you look on second hand racing gear sites, sometimes you can get them reasonable. the nice thing is they keep a constant negative pressure on the case ,and the vaccume increases with rpm, when the blowby increases.

ya the tunerview was the first thing on my wish list lol. Freaking awesome. Totally eliminates the need for 1200000 guages inside the car, and its less than $200, freakin made my day when i found that a few months ago.

does it log air fuel ratio? even the logging gauges were going for more then that

it logs narrowband afr, but you can hook your wideband up to your ecu, and yes the tunerview will display it. you still have to buy the wideband sensor =(

yeah and the smaller kit seems to fit the dash clock size almost perfectly. Thats where Id put it anyways. The radio installs look great but too much of an inconvience to look down and over when you can ust look over. I wonder if the writing is the same size or is the numbering smaller since the display is smaller? Might be cool to use a main display in the clock function and a second for less valuable cool info under the radio in the storage compartments. Too bad out clusters dont have an available spots like the civics, that would be super cool. Maybe send a cluster off to someone and have them fiberglass a upper section onto thhe cluster surround to house 2 display modules?

Maybe someone can photoshop some design ideas around the stock cluster? Mount a single unit to the outside of both sides of the cluster? House them under the cluster in between the steering wheel in that small viod?

If you just need to log AFR get one of these and use an old laptop.

    http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lc1.php

If you want an AFR display without the laptop you'll need separate gauge.

actually not true anymore cygnus. you can actually hook the wifeband directly into an unused port on the ecu, and the tunerview is made to display it. this goes for pretty much any gauge you can think of, egt, ect etc

Eh? Unused port on the Honda ECU? I didn't realize they had unused ports. I assume it's just for OBD1 ECUs right? I know very little about Honda ECUs.

Very cool. But mostly I was talking about Lost's case where he has carbs and just wants to log AFR only.

I'm a lil sketchy on the details on the unused port thing, but i know its been done. Yea, tunerview only works on obd1/2 ecus.

well i would like to log air fuel, rpm, and egt possibly. those are the main things i need to lay over each other to get the best picture, possibly oil temp too, that tells you a lot when you look at in in relation to rpm, if it's heating up at higer rpms the engine can be running lean and the excess heat goes into the oil and cooling system,

yea there is a 3 or 4 pin port in the ecu that hard wire's to a usb cable. There is a how to install the rtp, but i do not remember where i saw it.
If you want to test drive the software here is a link to down load it.
you can also download a log and see how it works. http://www.hrtuning.com/software//

    Re: getting started again. 89T

well I got a small update.

i was getting a simular noise as rendon posted about awhile back, i checked claerances and they were in spec.
i pulled the head off to port and polish it everything seemed fine, i got that done so i pulled the cam to remove the valves and i think i found the problem.

    sorry the pics suck.
the race's are all scratched to hell. the cam and head is ruined.
the noise is probably the cam moving around in the head.

it's time to start saving for another head, bishi cam and springs, and port and polish and valve job. 3 angle intake and 5 angle exhaust should do the trick.

I went ahead and reworked my spare head , and opened it up as much as i could and still get a good seal on both intake and exhaust. I worked on it an hour or two a day till yesterday.I threw in new valve seals and such also. today i got most everything back together, but i got side tracked on a new project..... Once i finnish that project, it will get put back together.
