I used a weld in bung from home depot. Is that an SC6176SP or SC6152SP? I have an SC6152S...

Thats a serious snail, Jerry. For my oil pan fitting, i drilled a hole, got a small galvanized steel adapter that both sides are threaded, but one size fits those cheap brass barbed fittings, and grinded all the galvanizing off, and welded it to the oil pan on the outside covering the hole I drilled. The steel fitting is not very big, maybe an inch or so long. I cleaned up the welds and rattle canned it. Strong, cheap, and no leaks.

Sounds good, I ordered a 10an weld bung and a 10an oil return kit.
The original fitting that i had was slightly back feeding. It was not that bad but with this new turbo I am not taking any chances.

The new bung will be welded to a short piece of pipe which i cut at a decent angle to over come the backward angle of the oil pan.

    she's getting real close.

Pulled the pan and welded the new bung in, rebuilt the down pipe to fit the new turbo. Copied Tim on the vibrant muffler.

Its not all here Tim, I am waiting on one little gasket.
