GO-AUTOWORKS Block Plug Adaptor D16 D15 DOHC ZC

This will go in the rear of the block on our motor where the black box plugs in IF you cut off the first o-ring section and replace the o-ring with a smaller but fatter one.

Sweet , ill look into that. I am trying to take it easy for now. I went back and checked some notes and it turns out that the car only has 380 somthing miles since the rebuild. I am trying to get to atleast a thousand miles before dyno tuning.

Can I get a ride? I'll bring the gopro down, and maybe I can get some nice shots. My buddy has been telling me go south and take a look at his boosted TL. Maybe we can get a little meet going?

Well, I got a chance to do a compression test and leak down. Cold
cylinder 1 170 psi plug dry black (rich) leak down 34%
Cylinder 2 147 psi plug wet black "" 49% not sure if the wet plug means anything.
    Cylinder 3 157 psi plug dry black "" 43%
    Cylinder 4 160 psi plug dry black "" 42%

    What are your thoughts?

Not great, but not horrible either. Could you make it acceptable with some additional tuning?

I think so. It's blowing smoke under boost. It blows the dipstick out. lol! I am probably going to add additional vents to the valve cover.
I think I am going to pull the head off and do a visual and throw on a fresh gasket.

I had the same problem blowing the dip stick out, unfortunately for me it caused a fire when oil came out all over the exhaust manifold. I had two cylinders that only had 70 psi when I did a compression check so your motor is in much better shape than mine was. I'm planning on adding a tab on the side of my dip stick tube to hold the dip stick down, like some newer vehicles have on the transmission dip sticks, along with more crankcase ventalation to hopefully prevent the dip stick blow out.

Right! I'll look into the tab deal too. I have a tig welder now , so I am looking into adding 4-10 an bung's to the Vc. If you need something let me know.

Having a good catch can would help the vent from pushing out the dipstick. Also A crank scraper would help.dont give up
