I may be wrong but,I thought the hx35 was comparible to the gt35r.
I may have a line on a hx35, but i wont know till the weekend.

GT35R can support more power than HX35, say 520hp to 650hp.... But it depends what compressor wheel the HX35 has, some had 7 fins some had 8. The 8 fin hx35s were good to around 520 and the 7s were good to nearly 600. The HX40s were like that too, 8 fin was like 600 and the 6 or 7 was good to almost 700hp. If you had an HX40 you should have more than enough turbo. Im gonna see how well my engine responds to boost, and break it in, get some tuning done, then going for high boost. My setup is 600hp capable but im gonna be conservative and try for 500 if I feel like the engine can do it without really stressing it

still nothing on the hx35, but i am hoping for the best. The manifold is waiting on that.

Wiring wise i'll look most of that tommarow and mount the battery and fuse box behind the fender.

I have to run 1 wire for the dizzy, and wire up the boost solenoid.(make sure i did not miss anything.)
pull all the amps out and rewire the stereo. No pre-amps, amps, x-overs, 6 speakers leaving 4 .. ect.

Metered, no. This was no bass qween by any means. I was After sound quality and volume. The 6's and 8's that i mentioned are in the rear deck for mid-range/mid-bass with another pair of 6's in the front doors.

And an up date as to wth i am doing. I will not build a nother manifold till I get a turbo that will meet my goals or i decide it's good enough. So yesterday i made a wedge that fits the in between top mount manifold and the 60-1(the holeset is way too big). It looks like it may seal up fine. I don't know if i Should just cut the flange off and weld it in there, and weld the flange back on?

the wiring is pretty close, The only real suck of it was running a map sensor wire from the passenger side fender into the car, and back out to the manifold. I guess i could have just wired it directly to the ecu.
I want this car done already.

Yeah i sold my setup a while back, and I still have the 135 amp rewound alternator but I want to go back to stock. When driving, the lights never really dimmed with this alt, even though my amp was drawing a solid 80+ amps at times (would pop 75 amp fuses like zits) It put out alot of power. Problems is, it doesnt put out alot of power at idle, but at around 1800rpm you had lots of power. I think I might go back to a stock alternator because I really dont need 135 amps worth of alternator anymore, and the added power at Idle might be nice with the small ass battery. Im working on finishing up some of the wiring for my car today...

Maybe get the Legend alt. I'm still running one. I think its like 90 amps??

I never got metered on my system, but with 2 12's and 2 10's inch solobarics I used to be able to stop peoples breathing. Had to get my front window redone too. The 12's went to my wifes car and the 10's are waiting to make it back into the hatch one day.

I got to do some work on the car yesterday. Mainly,I did the intercooler mock up and started fitting the battery under the right fender.
I mounted a tranny cooler for the water/air intercooler also.

I decided to modify the top mount to accept the stage 3 turbine housing also.

thanks, Bro! I am brazing the pipes together since I cant afford a tig, or to have someone else tig it. It's only 2 spots that wont be seen. Unless, I roll without the bumper cover..

    braze-sand-buff-polish...
I hope it comes out looking good.
