Tinted up Gold Style

ok, well for the 4 years or so i've been driving my accord i've wanted to get it tinted. now that i have my ac fixed i decided to get the tint done. my friend kinda helped talk me into it and i've really happy with how it looks. anyway, its called metal edge tint, not sure on the brand name. its limo tint with a gold tone to it. looks really sharp in person. i'm going to try and get some better pix in the day so y'all can actually see what it looks like. i spent $200 even. sounds like a lot and i thought so myself but this is what i wanted and didnt want to skimp and get something i really didnt want. anyway, check out the pix. this tints fuggin A+.

i like it but it sucks that they cut out around your 3rd light

i hope you checked with your local law before you put that tint on. Here in maryland, you can't have that dark. they will rape you in the ass if you have dark tint.

its legal. limo rear and 35% in the front. here they dont really mess with you about little bs like that even if it isnt legal here in my city, but i know about maryland, virginia, dc, um yeah they're dick up there eh? boy does it make it stay cold inside the car. and i love that i can see alright through it at night fairly well. as for the 3rd brake light, i think i may get a new one so it looks nicer. or maybe just dress it up some, i dunno yet, but i like how it looks. i was gonna try and get some day pix to show the gold tone it has but it really doesnt show up in pix. maybe this afternoon i can get some good pix. oh and just for reference, new tint does have a smell. someone said something about that in another thread.

Yeah that tint looks good man. Nice and dark. The gold tone kinda reminds me of the tints on the SEi, looks good with your car.

yeah it does look good. my friend that does tint let to mexico he was going to do my whole car for 80 bucks since he worked at a stereo and alarm place and they installed tint. i saw the Ebay kind...and i want to go with that ....im not sure tho. i was thinking 5% in the back and 20% in the front but 35% like yours looks nice

ive always liked 25 in back and 35 in front and a slightly tinted windshield, but tints aint happening for a while for me, lol.

u shouldve takn the 3rd brake light out like i did, compliments the tint ALOT better

and plus roght now ud have to tow it the tranny is fucked up, any ways back on topic u should have them redo the back window and cover the brake light it will look ten times beteer and it already looks really good

Looks good. I agree about the tail light though, my tint shop didnt even ask they just pulled the light and tinted that area too, which is good because that's what they are supposed to do. If they're careful they could probably just put a small piece there and the lip of the light itself would hide the seam, probaby would never be able to tell.

Also, what kind of rims are those? Looks tight, would kick ass if you lowered it a couple inches

these are my rims. bought them off a friend. not real sure what the brand is. but they look like tenzo passion 5's exactly. i'm working on getting it dropped like in january or so.

out tint laws just change in Jan, only narcs and blind people are allowed to have less than , get this 32%.. what asswipe in the assembly came up with that number....lol
still have 15 on my, blank blank vehicle, and 35 on civic, and nothing yet on accord, going with 27.8 percent.... lol

^^^every state has his own laws.....in california you can have 55 in the back and 70% in the front but the front is going to change to nothing cuz i called a tint place and they said now its against the law to put any tint in the front...it also depends on the cop that pulls your over.

well i lied...i got my tint..its 20% in the back and 35% in the front..but at night it looks like 5%...lol...did you get any daytime pics?
