    did you plug up everything? hear any whistles or hear it sucking for heaps of air?? or did you remove the idle diaphram thingy??

    spray some carb cleaner..and if the idle goes up or down you got a leak

    shouldnt have a vacuum leak without any hoses

    only hoses you should have left is the dizzy advance hoses

    Ok ill see whats up when i get home tonight. i do have some lines left on a black box that is right behind my valve cover.

    Also do i need my carb electrical plug plugged in?

    Ill get pics asap. girlfriend stole the camera for the week.

    can i have more pics of that choke setup?? other than that it looks good to me, you dont have to get rid of that purple box. i dunno about that choke puller, but if you take it off, there should be a hole, you should plug that. i dunno, not sure about that. but looks good

    You can remove the "Choke Opener" but you'll need to plug the hole (JB WELD) on the carb when the Choke opener is removed or it'll cause a vacuum leak.

    The hole will be on the front next to the threaded hole that the lower choke opener screw went into.

    Ok well i cant figure it out. The thing wont advance, it will kind of idle but it wont advance like its not getting spark. although i know it is. How exactly is my distributor supposed to be hooked up. like the vacuum on it. i got it "T"d going to my carb and mani.
