a20a4 = a20a3 without emissions. this netted a 5 horsepower gain over it's emission-controlled twin.

well us guys with the carbed engine can vouch for the emissions controls pinching the power some. after emissions removal i noticed more torque and better power through the revs. although i did have to manually tune it and what not. but it works. i myself would leave the emissions devices on the fi engines though. i dont know how well they would run without the things in place. also, these a20's off all the variations came in the preludes, if i remember correctly. i know for sure the A20A3 came in it. maybe not the A20A1 though. anyone know?

the 86 and 87 SI preludes came with a a20a3 fuel injected....its the same engine that the 86-87 accord came in the 88-89 just had upgraded intake mani and the exhuast that gives it 10 extra hp
