Gonna sell my 3gee!

Well I really enjoy this little car but after its little fiasco yesterday, I don't know if I wanna keep it around anymore. What happened is my brand new oil pan and gasket started leaking horribly, so we fixed that, then while driving it my cv axle broke. I'm gonna fix that today, but I just don't wanna keep putting money into this money pit. The car runs great and is very good on gas, has minor flaws. Has 376,xxx miles on it, but it is basically a new engine, with all the parts replaced. Very good service and parts history. Very clean car. 1 owner, 2 if you include me (we bought it from an elderly couple.) I think I'm gonna price it at 2k to start, and we'll see what happens. Just wanted to let all of you know beforehand. If you're close to Gainesville GA, and you want a 3gee, pm or reply and I'll send you an address or meet you somewhere. I really hate to get rid of it, but I think I want something a little sportier, plus I need something new to work on. I'm thinking Mazda 83-88 RX-7, or a Mazda Miata MX-5. I have quite a few pic threads around, so if you want to look just go look. Car is returning to its almost stock form for sale though. It was nice being on the forums, and I'll continue to frequest, who knows I might have another 3gee one day, these are addicting cars!

^ I think that the car is just old...I mean the old people that had the car before me, replace a LOT of stuff, but still they didn't get everything. I found an RX-7 I'm gonna look at today, and if I get that who knows, I really want a 86 Corolla...but thats impossible to find for my cashflow right now lol. Also gonna go look at a 90's model 300zx....such beautiful cars.

I know that's why it's so hard...I'm driving my truck right at the moment and I'm definitely keeping it, it doesn't look great, but it is the most dependable car I've ever had, it would run if you drove through just about anything. I want to keep the LX-i, but want another car. We have 4 cars, so I don't need 3 myself....just too mcuh to keep maintained at the moment.

why don't u just fix ur truck? since its more dependable. Sell the 3rd gen and with what ever money u have saved up you could put it into the truck? thats what i would do

Yeah, but my truck is my full blown project. It's really not legal to be on the roads right now, but I'm having to take my chances. I definitely need another daily driver, which is also fun, so I can leave my poor truck alone. I'm saving the most cash for my engine swap and trip to Japan next year.

No offense but i doubt you will get anything over 2k for your car despite the fact that it looks just as good if not better than most of the accords here. Part it out im sure you will get more money that way. Also i know what you mean about the 3gs being nice cars mine runs pretty much flawless and needs really nothing but its time to replace it.....

Dont wanna have too many cars...can't afford to maintain 3 or more. 240s are pretty expensive these days. Oh no offence to anyone but I think someone might pay 2k for it, esp. a mexican. They love these cars, like me. Anyway I set my price high so I can come down to what I really want, don't people know how to sell cars privately.
