    Removing Rear Brake Drum

I have an 86 Lx-i with a leaking wheel cylinder. I have replaced the bad cylinder on the left and want to replace the right cylinder but cannot get the brake drum off. Whats the trick in getting this stuck brake drum off?

Make sure your E-brake is not on, first off.

Try taking a hammer and slightly beating around the drum and see if you can get it to budge. It should just slip off.

I believe there are several threaded holes near the center of the drum. You can use some bolts to pull the drum off. I can't say that I know what size they are. This would be the most effective way to pop the old drum off if its really stuck.
