    where does this wire go?

so im replacing my intake manifold and carb gaskets, when i finally realize that i cant get this damn manifold off. so basically, im gonna take it into a shop and have them do it. i had everything off of the top of the manifold including the carb. i have everything basically all back together. and whatever isn't together, i know where it goes, except for this one wire. i was wondering if anybody could tell me where it goes, i know it's probably pretty simple. thanks a lot guys, i REALLY appreciate the help.

Dude, if your going to do your own work on these cars, you need to dive in and get dirty. Real dirty.... Both of your questions involved just lighting up the rear of your engine and looking. There are two brackets that hold the manifold to the block underneath, and the wire plug ins are all back there on the harness which attached to the two brackets, by means of bendable 'tangs'. Once you have the bolts out of the brackets, your top engine harness is free and you have to clear it out of the way to remove the intake manifold.
Removing the intake with factory hardwares on it is a diffucult task, that is why so many keep it on the head when removing the head. But if you use the right techiques it is not so bad, some work is done from underneath the car with the car raised up a good bit.
