Is there no way to delete my 3geez account through user settings?

    Hi guys!
So, I'm going on a bit of a delete spree in my password manager, and I found an account on this site.
I don't have a Honda any more, and I probably won't anytime soon. As far as I see it, this account is unnecessary for the time being.
I'm trying to delete this account, but I can't find an option anywhere in my account settings to delete it. Is this something that I can do on my end, or would I need to get in touch with a site admin to get my account removed?

    Chat GPT coming in clutch.

To delete your account on 3geez.com, you'll need to contact the forum's administrators directly, as there isn't an option to do so through user settings. You can reach out to them by posting a request in the "3geez News & Site Feedback" section of the forum.

Alternatively, you can send a private message to one of the forum administrators. According to the forum's house rules, private messaging is a recommended way to contact other members.

To send a private message, log into your 3geez.com account, navigate to the administrator's profile, and use the "Private Message" option. If you're unsure who the current administrators are, you can find a list by viewing the "View Site Leaders" page under the "Quick Links" menu on the forum.

Thing is with forums, all the software was written decades ago. I can count on one hand how many have given the option to delete your account, nobody cared about that stuff back in the day.
My suggestion is to just remove all personal information and change the email associated with your account and then delete it out of your password manager.

I do understand the concern. I literally work in cybersecurity. The security of a lot of forums is probably not very robust.
That being said, forums don't hold a lot of personally identifying information, no sensitive banking details, etc. Especially none that is kept private. If you put all your information on a forum profile, it can easily be scraped, almost everything here is public.
Additionally, if you use big tech services, your data has already been collected and sold. If the email you signed up with is Gmail, outlook, AOL, Yahoo, etc, it's already on a list, get a whiff of your spam folder.
A lot of websites didn't give controls to the user that could be considered dangerous. Removing and changing the information on your account is going to do just as much as deleting it would anyway. Being old, it's also not sophisticated and actively selling you to advertisers
