Help me Obi Wan...you're my only hope!

I have an 88 accord. I've replaced the carb, both fuel filters, and my car will drive great til it warms up and then it jerks around....then dies. I'll wait a few minutes and it starts up great, ....then the same thing happens. Does this sound like the electronic fuel pump?? Or something else...help me Obi-Wan

yeah you might need to adjust the idle but you will have to take off the carb again...also check all your vac lines.

To adjust the idle you do not need to remove the carb. Anyways, it sounds like your spark plugs are bad. Have you checked you distributor cap and wires? Also make sure that all the ground wires are properly secured.

when it dies is the manifold dry or flooded with fuel?
    is your choke opening completely?
Spark plugs and ground wires are unlikely.
If the car runs well when it is cold but not hot that can indicate two things.
Either 1) the overall mixture is too rich such as when the choke does not open or 2) there is a leak on a thermally controlled part.
Check the distributor advance to make sure it does not leak any vacuum, it is possible the main advance has a leaky diaphragm and only the cold start advance is functioning. There is also a pair of thermovalves on the back of the intake manifold, make sure those hoses aren't leaking either. Carb cleaner is a good way to check for leaks.
