Yeah, I saw that kid with the blue 1G. It looks decent enough, but I know he will TRASH it when he tries to mod it. I would love to have it, and I doubt he'll have much luck getting any true interest from sponcers. It's been on there awhile and I wish he would give up on it. That poor Accord...

A D16ZC actually is a DOHC engine. It's the only dual cam D-series engine. No VTEC.
And CAH is referring to that guy on here "Civic Accord Honda" poor guy gets more crap than he deserves. He's just a young guy into cars who will learn more. He's noted for being the resident ricer here, though he loves the older Hondas, and I haven't seen him rice anything yet...

Yeah ZC is DOHC. No OMGVTAKLOLOL!!!!11. Its a popular swap into 1g in my country. They are cheap and powerful enough (hey the hp is double from stock engine!) and... faster than most CAH civics.
I HATE when people suggests me to put bodykits on my car. Recently someone is like "hey your car is nice... have you considered replacing the bumper from newer cars?"

BTW heres a tastefully done 1g with sunroof. Not everyone who mod 1gs are CAH after all..

Man Hazwan, that 1g is nice! All I ever get to see around here are beat up old Accords. Nobody here gives a rip about them. There is a kid in my town who says he's doing a B-series swap into his, but he works at a wrecking yard part time and also says he somehow owns a REAL Civic Type-R, AND JDM Integra Type-R. Plus has like 3 or 4 other Hondas that are expensive as fuck.
Hazwan: You need to post a gallery of cool 1g and 2g Accords, and all the cool engines and other swaps people have done where you live.
on the topic of engine swaps....I had always thought the honda city's turbo engine might fit into our 1g's? I've never looked into it far enough to realize how stupid this idea is though lol.

I'll try to get more pics of the local cars. Too bad the owners rarely online on the forum. They only active in meets, which I'm having trouble to attend (I'm like 200kms away haha)
The City Turbo is supposed to fit in with the same mounts. Being that it's still based on the E-series engines. I think that there's a bit of info on the EK performance thread in the 2g section...
ANY cat who does up a 1G Accord proper is tight. Any cat who has a 1G AND a 2G Accord and actually respects them is right on time! A cat who owns generations 1-4 has some 'splainin to do! It's fun trying to tell my mom why I "need" all these whips and parts to go with them! Hopefully, by the time you get to painting your 81, you'll have a 5 speed and a stash of parts so you can strip the car of its trim. The 2G front seats. Damn, we need to score an LX parts whip and you can get the cloth door panels, "digital" clock, etc. My 81 has NAVI, though. It's by DeLorme and it works!! I've seen CAH on here and some other boards as well. Thanks for the info. He does have some ideas.
EDIT-- I meant I have a detailed paper atlas by Delorme. Looks like they have a real GPS, too. I'd like to see someone rollin' hard in a 1G with the GPS on the windshield!! If you don't know where you're going and you're in the 1G, you're in trouble!
