    Sohc->dohc

    What would it take in terms of cash, material, and time to convert an SOHC to a DOHC?

    its hard to do it cause u need to get a DOHC head that would fit directly on your SOHC head without any fibblings as in no fuck ups. if its cheaper than the whole engine, and its decenly priced, go for it. but if ur looking to do that on ur A20Ax engine, bro its just not worth the effort.

    It's not that simple unfortunately. Everything has to align right from the cylinder walls to oil passages, coolant passages, head bolt holds, etc.

    Actually, it's already been answered a hundred times. LOL. Check the FAQ and look for info on B series swaps (the GSR motor is a B18C1).
