no no, not hot. ...spun the piss out of it somehow, which caused a stem to snap and drop the valve, which shot around in there like a ping-pong ball on crack. ...all that carnage is courtesy of all four valve heads clanking around.

I feel for you running all the AN lines, doing the same myself for coolant, vaccume, fuel, oil and power steering. everytime you install something, something that you already installed has to be moved again. SU project is coming along nicely, have about as much clearance as you do with that h22 in there.

oh sorry. for those wondering, those are just radials used for the dyno pulls. They are by no means the wheels/tires he runs with on the track.

Wow, looked like the whole chamber got hot and melted the shit out of everything! Crazy that those are the valves. They must have damaged the cylinders pretty badly too, I'd imagine. Unless they were some crazy sleeves!!!

    Johnny, jump in here....

....but I think he already had Darton sleeves, and all cylinders got thrashed because he was making so much vacuum at that high rpm that the pieces of aluminum head, and valve bits got sucked in through the head and made their way into each cylinder. Everything had to get re-bored and a new set of pistons made.

    Re: h22 in a 3g

Yeah when the car went into vacumn and it sucked everything into each cylinder. I had to replace the cylinder that all that damage was done in. i had the rest bored over. The car sounds good and cannot wait to go to the track. The cylinder didn't get hot, that is from the vavles bouncing around at high revs.

lol i dont think that will get you into the 10s.. ive had my teggy running high 12s with 283 whp and my del sol had 378 whp and only ran a flat 12 (this was at high altitude though in CO, which prolly slows it down like a good 1/2 sec )
