you need a better light and an accusump, run a pressure warning switch off of the accusump so if it kicks in, you'll know it and have enough time to shut down the engine. what about an oil pressure switch set up to kill the engine? if it kills it on the track you just coast until you stop, but the engine lives.

    Re: h22 in a 3g

thanks for the advice and all the stuff said is already being done. The moroso acculumator is on its way. My oil pressure and shift lite r going right in my line of site and not on the dash. The oil problem with it killing the engine you won't be able to start the car when you turn it off because there will be no pressure and it won't work. Thanks pal. I am also looking into an external pump to,actually i am saving up money for it right now.

I once did a F20A 4g SI swap in a 3G - fabricated mounts from MS steel, trimmed the RHS chassis leg for the tranny, trimmed rear cross member for the tranny bell, its the same dimensions as a H22 - when I got bored of it, I put a H22 head on it and swapped out the ECUs (as the harness was made by myself), I already put in the VTEC wires, revved like a motorcycle engine and went like a horse with wasabi on its nads.

If someone wants to use the stock 3G cluster with a H22 - get a GM or VW inline VSS - it runs off the speedo cable - you would need to cut the cable and fabricate two ends with knurled rings for it - hey presto VSS signal and original speedo working

Well i haven't been on in awhile but here is the newest update. I got a factory pump modified and went to the track 2 or 3 week ago and the pump broke in the burnout. The acculumator did it job. I said screw it and mounted up an external oil pump on the car. It was alot of work but we made it work. I am going to post some pics and going to the track soon and hopefully have some vid.

I like your lighting effects in the video.

Is that an external oil pump to feed the turbo?

EDIT Okay I read the thread. Yeah external pump. Sorry ha.
