When installing the rear main seal, it is supposed to be lubed with grease on the inside. So it doesn't wear a ring on the crankshaft & start to leak. Anyhow, you'll see what is going on when you pull the transaxle out.
I'm hoping it's nothing serious, this engine came out of the donor car and it ran good, no leaks. So I'm hoping it's just a fubar seal, the machine shop that did the work on the block would of noticed something wrong if there was a problem, the shop was recommended to me by few of the local hot rod guys who have dealt with him for years.
I'll PM you once I get it apart if I have any questions.

I took the plug out of a carb stock header and filled it with weld.

Re: Started Pulling out my Engine and Transmission today (56k I do not recommend)

    It's ALIVE!!!!!!
Pics and Video later tonight, Im wiped out at the moment, We started pulling the transmission around 11:30 and got it installed and started a little after 3pm.
    Not bad time.
Still have to make my CAI, mount the gauges and I'm waiting for the downpipe to come in from Bitesize.
But for now I'm going to break in the motor with the stock exhaust manifold on and wait till after I break in the new motor.
She's running really strong from what I can tell so far.

Rear main was fine, but you know that tiny freeze plug that sits back ther for the oil galleys, it wasnt sitting in correctly and it popped out, I have a piciture of it and I'll show it to you later when I post up the other pics.

Re: Started Pulling out my Engine and Transmission today (56k I do not recommend)

Ohh, ok. After looking at some of my pics, it must be the one right below the rear freeze plug to the right. I left that plug along when I rebuilt mine, cause my kit didn't have any smaller plugs.
