    Re: My '89 LX-i Build

Well, my girl broke up with me, so not the best I've ever been. I'm doing alright, all things considered. At least I have enough free time now to get on 3geez from time to time. I missed this place.

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM

    time to repaint my dash.
Going with a satin black this time, instead of the semi gloss it's now.

Just re-doing the dash paint with something less glossy.
And finally pulled out the AC Condendser since I took the Ac out a long time ago, there was a ton of crap in the housing I dont even want to know whats dead in there.

what kind of paint are you using? heard SEM paint works and sticks pretty well.

I ended up using Krylon Fusion paint this 2nd time around. I've used it before on other pieces and it's worked great.
My wife painted the dash over 2 years ago with some generic paint we had laying around and it held up real well, but was a little too shiny for me. Thats the only reason why I decided to redo it with a satin finish this time, besides it's perfect weather here in Vallejo today for painting.

SOrta like a redo eh. And yes much faster when youv done it twenty times. Like the first time i swapped my dash. Didnt swap wires in it and had to take it back off.
And i like the paint man. I like the satan over gloss too . Cant wait to see final install pics.

went over it with a Scuff pad lightly, and gave it 2 coats total.
I spent more time last nite putting it back in,just so the wires would be neatly tucked up under the dash
Finished and Installed Late last night.

EGR and I can't remember what the other one is for. It's carb related.
