Pearl, that caddy is fucking tight. The 20's totally do it. Excellent choice with those.

As for the 'ole 3g, I was never fond of the whole white thing, but the amount of time and lovin that went into that car is unsurpassed as far as I'm concerned. Insanity with the phantom top and wood floor

Looking forward to seeing 3g v2.0 soon enough. Good luck with the Caddy.

I'm not going to start on the Accord until after I sell the Caddy but here are my plans so far. I'm not even sure if I am going to work on the one I have which is kind of rough or go and buy another one with low mileage in better condition. There is a grey 86 lxi for sale with 80k miles for $2500 pretty close to here.

These are the plans if I keep my Champagne 88 LXi sedan though.

Interior: Wrap complete interior in tan tweed with raised graphics in the door panels and seats. The center of the seats will be cream leather. The dash will be completely smoothed of all pockets and unnecessary openings before being wrapped and the guages will be replaced with gold and white autometer guages.

Exterior: I will keep it a very similar color to the stock champagne color but probably with a light pearl or flake. I will shave everything including door moldings, handles, washer squirters emblems, antenna, roof molding, and I will section the trunk so only the top part above the taillights will open. Then I will shave the taillights completely and put two led strips on each side for turn signals and brake lights.
I will keep the stock bumpers and fill in the front turn signal lights and mold the holes for the factory fog lights smooth. I will also cut the bumpers and add a two inch strip all the way around so they hang that much lower. Then I will french in the license plate off to the side. For the headlights I will replace the flip ups with headlights out of a Lincoln Mark VIII.
I will also put in a sliding rag top eventually.

Wheels: These are still undecided but they will most likely be 16s but 17s are a possibility. I want something with a mesh style like BBS that I can get powdercoated to match the car. It has to have a big fat polished lip on it too.

Suspension: Air is the only way to go for me. I will run 1/2 inch line and 12 parker valves for complete adjustability and two compressed air tanks so I don't have to wait for the tanks to fill.

Engine: Almost stock. I don't care at all about going fast. I do plan on shaving the firewall and smoothing the radiator support of all unnecessary holes.
If I do eventually need an engine, it will be a B18a. No intake, no exhaust. I like my cars quiet now. The very first thing I will do is strip down the car and sound deaden the whole interior and trunk.

Of course there will be a lot of little detail things done that I haven't even thought about yet, like shift knobs and polishing and chrome stuff. I have my whole stereo to put in there too.
But there is a start of I am planning on doing.

It's an old school thing. Take a look at the picture on the left in my avatar. If you look closely you can see the roof is a different color. It is covered in padded white vinyl just like the old Cadillacs.
Most of the time they are a different color from the rest of the car. I wanted mine a little stealthier.

Hey pearl do you plan on using eai cylinders. Just wondering because right now I have chasis tech/blowjax and I am switching to brislands in the front. They are suppose to help get lower but when I get them on I will also be doing some cutting. From brislands the cylinders run 259 each but I believe they have some good deals on kits. Check out www.brislands.com

I am using EAI cylinders in my girlfriends Prelude right now and they are great. I will talk to the guys at Brislands before I buy the kit though. I live really close to them and they come to all our shows. They have a badass Focus wagon on air.
Have you figured out how to make a set ride height yet? You know, where you hit one switch and it sits at the perfect height so you can get an alignment?
Something else you can do besides cutting out the fenderwell just above the upper control arm is to take the wishbone to a machine shop and cut about a 1/2 inch off of the top of that.
